* DO NOT REMOVE the line - it's required for correct functioning This contains a LOT of commentary (sorry) NOTE: Some Mozilla pages reference is being located in the profile folder under Mozilla, but this is incorrect and those pages are outdated by a few years How do I set the stylings for these items and more specifically, what are they called and what are their syntax names in css?Īs I forgot to mention the location of the userchrome.css file, you can find it here (for Windows):Ĭ:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\\chrome ignore the white box, I have that sorted. I've managed to sort out my other folder appears settings in userChrome.css, but cannot find anything for the account folder (apologies if I'm not referring to it in it's proper/common name - I'm new to Thunderbird). How do I change the font/display settings for these entries? Some are blue (not consistent though from what I can see as to why), most are my theme default (white). Regardless of new mail, unread mail, any mail, etc. One thing I canot get sorted though is what the syntax is for configuring the email account folder entries in the folder pane. So, I have been able to update the userChrome.css file to allow for my own flavor of my mail folders. That said, it's not for the faint at heart (my dad would not look kindly on the method for many customizations). I am liking it - especially the ability to customize the look and feel. I am new to Thunderbird world after being an Outlook user for nearly 25 years.
